Oy with the oil already

(AP Photographer Charlie Riedel)

As the dirty oil industry and its political allies plan their destructive oil and gas drilling in the Arctic, climate change continues to threaten its habitats faster than wildlife can adapt.
The proposed oil and gas development would occur along the Beaufort Sea, considered the "biological heart of the Arctic Refuge", and the habitat loss that occurs here will affect the future of the entire area.

All this for merely a few years (roughly 3) worth of oil?!

Thousands of lives and habitats are impacted by our poor, short sighted choices. Please help put a stop to oil drilling in Arctic waters by signing this petition:

I absolutely LOVE this controversial Greenpeace ad that was denied space on an Edmonton billboard. The ad was designed in response to the recent oil spill, near Sundre, Alberta, and to encourage premier Alison Redford to investigate the safety of the province’s oil pipelines.
